hey there guys. its probably on here but i suck at searching forums. looking for so info on using the rear abs sensor for the vehicle speed. Working on an 02 ranger 5 speed man., 4wd, 4.0. The output shaft of the trans broke and the closest trans i could find was out of a 97, which had the vss in the tcase. Ive read about the theory of using the abs sensor in the diff for vehicle speed when doing 302 swaps and such but cant find any helpful specifics. Do you have to flash the GEM or the ABS mod or both. And can i make a jumper from the original vss connector back into the harness to the abs sensor wiring. Any help is greatly appreciated.
