'02 XLS 5 spd Manual weak clutch

I bought a new '02 Explorer with a 5spd manual. I have 42,000 miles on it. I was excited that they made the new ones with a manual tranny. Problem is, it has a very weak clutch. It will tow no more than 2500 pounds. Any info as to where I can get a heavy duty clutch when this one wears out? What kind do you recommend? If I go heavy duty, will this just translate the wear to other parts of the driveline that may also be weak?

You can go with a centerforce clutch, a centerforce dual friction has 90% more holding power than a stock clutch but they're pretty expensive. do a search you'll find a good deal of info on clutches.
