So my starter went bad. Removing the old one both posts on the solenoid sheared right off it.

Now both ring terminals have the nuts and posts stuck in them.

I am not an electrical guy but by no means an idiot.

How much of a task would it be to run new ones to bypass the old ones?

Just remove the old Terminals with some tools

The quality of the wire and the terminal is key here ford uses great quality
the replacement you use won't be so great

Vice grips are your friend

Got it sorted out. Had to put a cut off wheel on my impact and hold it with channel locks.

Once the new starter was in, just spins and doesn't engage. Have to do it all over again tomorrow.

Is this a stick or auto? The new starter is it remanufactured?
Is the new starter doing the same as the old one? Could be a broken flex plate
