Where did the "NBX" package come from?

A choice of 2wd, 4x4 control-trac, or AWD with either of the engines. . . interesting.

Are they still using the 5R55E for the 5 speed tranny?

there are a lot of nice options they are adding to the explorer... 40/20/40 middle seat, middle seat entertainment(dvd etc...), larger stock tires and wheels.

The NBX sounds like a pretty cool package with a yakima rook rack stock.

The NBX was a late 2002 edition, but th '03 adds a bit more. It's the No Boundaries trim.

Ah. . I get it now. . I just couldn't figure why anyone would want the 'NBX' trim. The acronym sounds stupid to me i guess.
