I have a friend with a 2003 Explorer and the in-dash external air temperature gauge is not working correctly. For example, it reads 68F when it should be reading 10F (). This started a couple months ago. I'm not super familiar with Fords but wanted to help him out. I figure there's a temp sensor somewhere that may need to be replaced (or connections cleaned), but I don't know where to start. Any tips?
