I ordered the parts from Rock Auto Friday, it was just seeping then, but Saturday it left it's 'mark' on the street at my son's soccer game, we limped it home without it overheating. The parts came today, I also ordered intake gaskets as my best friend suggested (up until about two months ago, he was a Ford dealership mechanic, due to crappy management, he's moved to the Chrysler dealership) as it was easier to change it that way and a lot of the time they tend to leak.

I've got the T-stat housing off, took pictures and was doing a project write up for the whole thing, but I've never ordered a factory manual for my truck (have them for all my other vehicles) and I'm trying to figure out what to do next. So I came here to look around.

Got the T-stat housing and the intake gaskets replaced. I need to find the time to do the write-up and incorporate the photos. Took about 30 minutes to get the intake off, if I did it again I bet I could get it in 10, definately made putting the new T-stat housing in easier. Spent a lot of time cleaning the area around the gasket mating surface as well, no one sees it, but I like it to be as clean as possible. My '03 didn't have the silencer 'pillow' in the valley, did have some coolant that I cleaned out though.

I'm in the middle of a ton of overtime at work, so I'm not sure when I'll get it done, hopefully before I forget too much, LOL!!
