I stumbled on this site when searching for some answers about how to do some repairs on our Sport Trac.
After a couple of hours of reading, I could tell there's a lot of information and a wealth of knowledge from the members here. Let me start by saying we bought this Sport Trac new for my wife to drive and it has been such a good car (she has always called it a car), that we decided to keep it. It has 198,000 mi's on it and now sits in the driveway most of the time. I just started driving it to work, a day or so a week, just so it doesn't sit. She never complained about it, but it floats terribly while driving. Shocks must be worn out and that brings me to the newbie question.... Does this vehicle have shocks or struts on the front and are they difficult to change?

Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum. According to ROCKAUTO.com it should have shocks in the front. Any pics of your Sport Trac?.
