03 Sport Trac Transmission Problem

2003 sport trac 4.0 transmission problem no flashing lights or codes. I get in the truck put it in gear drive half mile to stop sign and start to pull off the truck wont move in any gear. After about a minute it engages and works fine. This seem to only happen while the engine is cold. It doesnt happen everytime just seem random. Also a few weeks ago while running 60mph it seem to jump out of gear and rev. This has happen 2 times. What could be causing this problem ?

Fluid level?

Ive checked and double checked the fluid level and it looks good

Im going to pull the pan, look for any metal or damage, change the filter and fluid. Is there anything else I can check while the pans off ?
