About to buy an 03 XLT with 59,000 miles and the 4.6L V8. Joined to learn about it and what to keep and eye out for. I got it for $9,000 and it is very nice, excellent condition, tight and smooth, although the RR wheel bearing was already bad.
Would appreciate it if you guys would steer me towards forums/threads that I should read. I already see that the Brown Wire Mod, needs to be done.
This will mainly be my daily driver, my toy is a '99 Powerstroke and my favorite toy is my Farmall pulling tractor, my wife and I pretty much pull tractors 9 months of the year.
