'04 xls problem... help pls

I have a 2004 xls with a kkm and nothing else done to it... I was driving the other day and all of the sudden all of the lights in the dash board come on, the oil guage went all the way down, lost power steering, breaks went hard (but I think they were still working), and the accellerator did not respond...

I had to let the truck "use inertia" to pull over, then after a few seconds of thinking about what the problem was, I decided to cluse the ignition switch (turn the truck off) and then turn it back on... and then like nothing had hapenned...

Has anyone heard of such thing?

It was like if the ignition switch slided from the start position back a couple of degrees to open (sorry, I don't know all the positions that ignition switch has, I hope is clear enough)...

Actually, I drive my truck with fear that it might do it again; at the time I was not doing anything out of the ordinary (speeding, burning it - not that I can, but ... etc.).... actually i was going speed limit and following all the rules as a state trooper was behind me... I thought he was going to ask me what the problem was since my driving was a bit erratic due to my mechanical conditions.

Does any body have an idea of what the problem could be??? No error codes or lights were present before or after the incident...

I planning a trip to the dealer, but I thought I'd check here first to get an idea...

Sounds like a computer issue. One of those problems you'll never be able to replicate and it'll just happen again out of nowhere. You should probably go to the dealer and describe what happened to them and see what they say, but I suspect PCM.

either that or the ingnition switch (may be it just slided out of position???)

but yes.... a trip to dealer is next
