04 xlt blend door

were can i buy a blend door? mine broke and fell down inside the box, talked to a friend of mine that owns a garage and he told me i would have to buy the whole box. because nobody sell's the blend door for a 04 explorer xlt. any help would be helpful

Mine broke too and they say you can't buy that door by itself you have to buy the entire unit. It's like $400 new. I found one at a junk yard for like $70. I guess it's called a plenum chamber or evaporator assembly,

Oh and the whole dash has to come out to change it. That's what I'm getting ready to do.
