Had a bad day. 2005 4.0L ranger lost its oil fill cap and blew about 2 quarts of oil out before I knew it. It blows a good blue/white smoke on a cold start. I'm guessing its got a cooked valve guide or 2. I'm going to run a compression test tomarrow. My question is can the heads be swapped in the truck or should it come out to be done.

05 4.0L with big problem
