05 Back Glass Exploded!

I woke up yesterday to find that my backglass had exploded. Nothing was stolen and I didn't see that anything had been thrown through it. Has this happened to anyone else? I've already had the window replaced (to the tune of $500...my deductable) I'm worried that this might happen again. What can be done to avoid this, assuming that it wasn't a vandal?

That happened on my 2000 Explorer. It doesn't seem to be a common thing but happens from time to time.
