I've got an 05 Eddie Bauer 2wd with the 5spd auto. Its got a little over 76,000 miles on it and I've had it since new. I've had the fluid flushed at the dealer every 30,000 miles so far in order to get new fluid in there. I've never had the pan off or replaced the filter so I guess I should do that soon. Its always shifted good and don't really have any problems. Several thousand miles ago it did start to act a little different. When shifting from D to P or vice versa it started to "clunk" into gear a little harder. I was just wondering if this was normal or anything to worry about. The wife is concerned about it but I told her the old girl is just getting some miles on her and that was normal
