05 motor into an 01 is it possible

i just purchased another 01 sport with bad motor will a motor from an 05 fit in there and is there anything that i may have to change over if it is not a direct swap

Which `05 motor?

If it's the 4.6L...No, it won't just bolt in. If it's the 4.0L then yes. It will bolt in. You MAY need to use your intake, fuel rails, and a few sensors here and there...but they are essentially the same motor.

sorry about that yes i was referring to the 40 motor do you know of anyone on here who has performed the swap im just trying to get an idea of what im getting mysel in to
