The v-6 model looks to have the 4.0 SOHC. This means there may be more aftermarket support in the future...

very exciting...there will be more for us for sure!

and the new mustang, I really dont like the front end. or the back. i dont really like it at all.

i fell in love with the silver concept car, and i dont think they changed it too much. it still looks great IMHO. GT will for sure have the new 3 valve 4.6, and the base model will have the 4liter SOHC. you SOHC guys will have tons of speed parts here pretty soon.;)

the wife has about a year of school left, and then she will more than likely get a new GT. good thing as it will be the 2nd year of the new run.

It also looks like the V6 guys will have a good auto tranny available. The same 5R55S auto is for both motors. Maybe that means us X guys have another swap or upgrade possibility.

I did like the concept better, but this is still one sexy car ;) If I was in the market for cars, this would be near the top of my list, whereas the current mustang (V6+GT) wasn't even on my list.

I love the specs. I'm not to keen on the body style. I like the '96-98 body style or the Mustang Shelby Gt 500 body style. Very sweet. I agree that the new body style's aren't that great. I think they're looking less and less like a sports car and more and more like a family sedan car. Not that good looking for sales but the specs are deffinatley great.

The wheels on the V6 are nicer (in my opinion obviously) which is weird and backwards. The back end looks like a family car like a maxima or something not so "yeah that's right, all you will be seeing is this NICE back end at the green light" look to it.

I know it would take alot away from the classics but you can not honestly tell me ford chevy and dodge wouldnt make RECORD sales if they contoured the exact body lines of the late 60s mustangs, cougars, camaros, vettes, chargers, challengers, barracudas and everything else i cant think of cuz it is 2 am. Honestly meow.

oh ya, and the fog lights are too big.

And the fogs are that big because thats how they were ;)

I agree with you, Stephen. That's why I like it. It's getting back to what (in my mind) a Mustang is supposed to look like.

Mmmm tasty. I bet it will haul!

screw retro. everything is "retro" these days. sure, things always build off the past, but everywhere I look i just see and utter lack of imagination. the first mustang wasnt retro. chevy was on to something I think when it dumped the camaro.

YESSSSS!!!!! I love it! It's what it should have been all along. The retro styling is great! Ohhhhhh yeah I'm a Mustang FREAK!!

I wonder if there will be a Shelby edition since its a retro model?
