I have a 05 Sport Trac XLT 4.0 - All Stock.
Currently, none of my windows work except the rear window. It was an irregular problem. Conveniently only acted up on days it would rain, a weeks straight of hot and sunny there was no problem what so ever. Frustrating to say the least.
I found that after it would act up if I opened the door to its max then close it they would work.
I had searched the archives and got some pointers but in some cases they didn't apply to my style vehicle.
My question, is it a ground in the door or under the dash? Is it the switch unit in general? Could it be a loose or frayed wire on the instrument cluster?
On an unrelated note my Odometer flashes at me along with my tachometer and speedometer will drop to 0 while driving then bounce back up my speed. ON one instance my headlights had turned completely off while driving when set to the Auto setting. I did just replace the 20A fuse under the hood and spot 19. Will that help at all?
Any pointers or suggestion would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks in advanced!
