I can't find one on the shelf anywhere and want to swap my wife's oil out for synthetic today. Is this a crush washer that I would absolutely have to replace, or is it a more conventional one that I could possibly reuse. (Yes, I know I shouldn't, but I'm hoping I can)

Mikead_99,
You can go right ahead and change out your wife's oil without any worries. No gasket on the plug. Just be sure to not cross-thread when tightening back up, and just snug it down tight. No need to put brute force on it though...sure don't want to strip it...just snug.
I shifted my 05 over to Mobil 1 sythetic as soon as I brought it home. I prefer to use the Motorcraft oil filters in mine.
Have fun...and your wife owe's you dinner now!

Thanks Bottomlesspit, I held off until today hoping to hear back on this. It's on the ramps cooling off right now. :)

Regarding dinner, yeah, she's owes me that and then some after the detailing I gave the exterior yesterday, lol.
