07 explorer tail lighs would fit in a 03 explorer

I'm pretty sure they are different and will not match up...but I could be wrong?

The will fit but there are some differences. The 07 have 3 bulbs instead of 2. You would need to wire in the 3rd light. I believe you has may need to be a little sheet metal to get it to fit but it is doable.
