07 Fog Lamp Question

Hey guys, im sure this is a dumb question that has been asked before, but i looked and couldnt find what i was looking for.

Just bought my wife a 07 sport trac and it doesnt have fog lamps but has a space in the bumper for them thats just covered with some black cover type things. My question is, what do i do to get her some fog lights? just buy the bulbs and the actual lamps? will there be any wiring involved?

I installed factory fog lights and bulb wiring kit from rockauto.com (about $80). I didn't use the factory harness but I straight wired my fog lights directly with my side indicators (not turn signals, the orange bulb next to the headlight) so that whenever those were on, my fog lights were too. When I unlock my truck now, the fog lights light up too to help provide some light at night, plus when I run my high beams my fog lights stay on. I did not install a switch on mine.

Thanks! It was pretty easy. You will need to remove the headlight assembly (just 3 bolts) then bring up the wire from the back of the bulb and I just used this connector..

to tap into the side indicator wiring. Not too bad and so far I haven't had any issues.

Not to threadjack (since OP is on the right trac), but does anyone have the $41 ebay round halo foglamps in their 07+ ST or 06+ Explorer?

I could care less about halo/projector stuff, I prefer the look of this over OEM rectangular ones. Seems pretty cheap and look good, but I am a fan of 'get what you pay for', just asking if anyone has these or any experience. Thanks.
