Issue I have is that I went to start the truck and nothing happened, no sound, no crank, only the dash and radio worked.
The night before it worked fine, no issues. I've read in the forum solution to fix the problem, but nothing worked. I change the battery, change the starter and still nothing. But at least I heard a click when I turned the key but still no crank. I took it my mechanic and he did all the testing he could to include calling a locksmith cause he thought that it might be the chip on the key and to reprogram the system with no luck.

Any suggestions?

Does the theft light flash rapidly when attempting to crank? Can the starter be jumped?

Thanks for the responce,

Yes on the light flashing fast, and we jump the starter.

Welcome to this forum! When you jumped the starter, does this mean that you bypassed the starter relay? Maybe the starter relay is defective?
I know he tested the fuses but don't know if he tried the relay. I will ask.

Thank You I'll keep you posted

If the theft light is flashing fast when trying to crank there’s most likely a PATS issue. It should blink a code.

welcome to EF!!!! mbrooks is a very knowledgable fellow ;)

Yes the left light blinks fast, were can I find and read the code on the dash?

I believe if you put the key in and turn it to on it should blink a code by flashes and pauses. That’s the way the older ones were, at least.

If Pats thief no start mode detected after the keys programmed, check instrument cluster EEPROM immobilizer chip.

I had a similar issue, where one key worked and the other did not, do you have more than 1 key to try?

Yes one is a copy & the other is the original key and neither worked.

Is there no blinking code?
