10 Mounty Amp Location

Trying to find the OE amplifier in my 10 Mountaineer... has the navi, sync and subwoofer. I know the subwoofer has its own amp on the box, but trying to find the amp for the main speakers...

And yes I did search...

Most likely the amp is in the head unit itself.
That's just a guess though, because most cars do that now.

Nah, the 09-10 stereos with Navi have an external amp.

I'm hopefully going to start tearing panels off this weekend so I can find it... will post my results.

If you're sure of that, the amp is either in the rear quarter panel, or in the dash. More likely the rear quarter panel.
