100,000 MILES

Well, the X turned 100,000 miles today, and to my surprise, it didn't blow up!! Maybe I'll have better luck from this point on. I am preparing to do some maintnence very soon, please tell me if I am missing anything.

1) Change ATF and filter, how much fluid will I need??

2) Change REAR diff. fluid. Is it regular 80w90??

3) Change T-case fluid, it takes ATF right??

4) Change FRONT diff. fluid, this takes 90w140 right??

5) maybe a serp. belt??

I've already changed the plugs, wires, fuel and air filter not too long ago.

In the far future I will flush the coolant and brake fluid, and change that noisy pass. side ball joint.

Anything I am missing?? Any tips??

Mine became brand new today also. I had to pull over and take a pic with the digi on the side of the road. It was pretty funny. Well tomorrow morning guess I need to give it a bath and change the trans fluid and oil.

I only have 4879 miles on mine. (Well.......maybe I am fibbing a little) Tack a 1 on the front of that number. Sounds like you are doing all the right stuff only thing I would add is to check all of the lights (turn, tail, marker, plates and such) those original bulbs are getting old. I have had to replace a few since I went over 100K.

Looks like i should be doing some of that. Already have ATF, fuel, air, spark plugs and wires, and a few other things taken care of... need to change the stuff in the differentials, lube up stuff in the somewhat noisy front suspension.....
what kinds of oil/lube will i need? The haynes is great at explaining how to do it... but not always what i need to fill it with.

I've got 127,900 on my 95 and it's still going strong on the vast majority of it's original parts. It'll still goes like only an OHV can and still looks brand new.

I changed the rear end oil, tranny fluid, engine oil, cleaned the MAF sensor and throttle body, as well as tightend the intake manifold bolts at 102,000.

The Haynes in my opinion is crap, I had to replace a map light and it was really vague on any of the overhead lights, (remove lens, replace bulb) AND they keep insisitng that the redesign took place in '97 rather than '95

My haynes says it took place in 95....and it even has 2 pictures describing how to replace the dome lights
