100 watt h1's

hi fellas

i'm wanting to upgrade my factory fog light bulbs.

i'd like to start with some 70 watt ones, if i can't find some decent ones do you guys think i'd fry anything with 100 watt bulbs?

my truck is still under warranty, so it would only cost my time if there was a problem.

thoughts, comments ?

PIAA makes a 55=100 watt H-1. Ebay has these is superwhite & palzma also.
To answer your question I dont think you would fry your wiring but the bulb wouldnt last too long. Too much heat.

i had 80W HIPERs...... they lasted for about 2 months

stick with 55W

ihad some 100 watt walmart fogs that were originally designed as 55 watters but i put in 100 watt bulbs and i had to replace them once a week.... if the car wasnt in motion and i turned them on they would start to billow smoke out of the drainage hole.....
