Instead of spending a ton on a new car, I'm going to toss $1000 in the Exploder to keep me interested in it. So far I've got a Borla exhaust, Bilstiens, Excel wires, and K&N. I need a cat. converter so I'm down to $750. I'm looking for a balance between ride/power as I'm going to be driving 50mi to college in the fall. Any suggestions? Fire away.

A chip. A new kick a** stereo system.

Give it to charity

Make check payable to the "Help Make Jeepeater a BigDog" foundation :D

Sorry, couldn't resist :p

How about a nice sport front and rear sway bars :) for more ride control and comfort.

Already have a stereo, and with gas prices going up and a chip requiring high test, it's kind out out of the question for now...too bad seeing how they're on sale. Sway bars sound like a good idea, I'll look into those. Poly bushings don't sound that bad either. I'd love to order headders but SHE said it was loud enough. Jarret- giving to charity does sound like a good idea, if anybody wants to give a "charitable" contribution to my college fund you're more than welcome. ;)

Seriously, Godfather, you're making it tough to give and get ideas. You want more power but need to preserve gas mileage expense. You've already opened your breathing up front and back and all that is left would be headers; other mods are gonna cost you mileage. Except for headers, you've done the sensible other mods already.

If the money is really burning a hole in your pocket all you are going to be left with is choosing between boss aftermarket gimmicks. Pick your poison. Do you want different wheels, guards, etc; or maybe something like the small TV screens you can install, etc. Do you wheel? $750 gives you some options on improving your offroad abilities with LSDs or minor lifts.

Or, if you like to camp out, Rick has already found the accessory for the man who has everything. Be the first on your block with this:

Just what I've always wanted!!!!! Now if I could rig it up so it would dump on the jacka** tailgating me....

I think I got it- I'm going to put a larger MAS and TB, swaybars and the converter. I don't care about a little decrease in mileage, just with the chip I'd be running high test all the time and it just hit 1.75 a gal here.

Another suggestion: 4 cases of Engine Oil you like. A supply that will last, should I say a year?:) since you will be travelling 50 miles /day? 5 day /wk = 250 miles per week, a month will be 1000 miles takes you 3 months to change oil.:)
