12.5" wide tire fit stock 7" rim?

Is there any way a 305/70R16 (33.1 x 12.2) tire will fit on the stock 16" rim? (are they 7" or 7.5" wide?)

they are 7" wide, they will fit, but most people prefer to have them on a 8-10" rim

They will fit and probably look great on your stock wheels....but I personally would go with 285/75/16 instead. They will make it handle slightly better. Also, you are going to have alot more rubbing issues on the swaybar with the 305's.
