everything on the x is standard, i wanna make some modifications to it, but i dont know where to start, fixing my frame?..

went through an intersection with like a 3 foot drop and like a 4 foot raise and didnt know it, i hit it going 75, landed and bottomed out my truck bad, put a hole in my oil pan and bent my frame, truck still drives good, but it doesnt look to great on the front of the truck, and ive gotten quotes on the frame for over 1000 dollars just to fix it...theres got to be an easier way.

any suggestions on how to make my truck looks nice...get a lil better fuel economy, but yet look and sound beastly.

I would fix the frame before anything else. In order to build a durable safe vehicle you have to have a solid platform.

After that, for gas mileage, I would run a cold air intake, replace the cluth cooling fan with dual electric fans(you need 2 12 inchers for the 5.0 on a temp relay, and remember this will pull ALOT of amps off your Alternator), I run ACCEL 9MM wires and Platnum Plugs, and I am installing fiberglass fenders and hood.

Is the truck 4WD?

A 3 inch body lift will allow some larger tires, but suspension lift avenues are limited.

A dual Exhaust with flowmaster 40 series muffs makes My 5.0 growl nicely, and opened up some HP also(I removed the cats and installed O2 sensor fakies)

With all this, I get about 20 MPG in the city running 33 inch tires on Stock gearing, and about 23-25 MPG on the highway, But only if I keep my foot out of the gas when it isnt needed. All of this will RUIN your gas mileage if you have a heavy foot...But she sure will run better.

Realistically on a daily basis I get about 15 in the city and probably 18-20 on the highway, but the performance I get is worth it to me.

My $0.02.

Daniel
