15 or 16s ?
I want to put stock 16s to replace my stock 15s. Because I like the way larger looks. My time is spent about 15% off road and the rest on. I want good road performance and also moderate off road use. Need a tire that can handle a pinch but no too aggresive I guess.
Does anyone have any opinions (pro or con) about the larger wheels, besides less choice in tires.
I want to stay with in the specs i.e 15- 235/75 16- 255/70
Because this will give me less hassles with speedo and other stuff, right? So to get a larger tire I would need to put the 16s on.
I'm looking at Michelin LTX M/S, Goodyear Wrangler AT/S,
BFG AT/KO. All in 16s. Will these perform off road just the same as 15s would, really for the amount of off roading that I plan to do?
Before I sink a grand + into this I would like to get some opinions, is it really necessary?
Thanks, Jeff
