The bolt pattern is the same. Most 15x8 wheels are built with a "standard" offset. normally between 3.5"-4" back space. what brand and style is it?

Stock BS for the Explorer is 4.5". With larger tires though it's better to have BS closer to 3.75". 4-4.5 will work but might rub more on suspension components, and 5" is way too much.

SGR, the Cherokee wheels will not work, because the wheel hub bore is smaller than the Explorer hub. I tried to bolt up an "Ecco" Jeep wheel to mine, and found this out. If the hub bore was machined out a little, then the wheels would probably fit. That was too much trouble for me, so I went with a set of Mazda B3000 truck wheels.

hmmmm... ok, thanks guys.
