kk ... I just got an excellent deal on 5 new mich 235/70/16 tires and I couldn't pass em up so on an impulse I got em. The problem is I have the stock 15" wheels.
I would like to convert to 16" and use the new tires I have but I am on a very limited budget and cant afford to go new. Idealy I would like to go to a junkyard or something and find some for about $10 - 15 each. The problem is I am not sure what I should be looking for. I am pretty confidant that 16's off another explorer would fit however I may not be able to find another explorer. What about an F150 or ranger. Would they fit? Would it be safe? Does maybe someone have something for sale? If I am unsure of the vehicle they come off what measurements should I look for?
