Who on here has the most miles on an Explorer without a rebuild? Mine is a 1991 XLT with 5-speed. I hate to sell it but I just bought a '96 and I must. My X has never left me stranded and seems to run as good as the day I bought her. No smoke, noise, or loss of power. I've become attached and am really not looking forward to seeing her drive off. I'm thinking about asking $2,900. Blue, not a speck of rust, almost new 30x9.5 BFG's and Cd player. Reasonable?

if its its in really good body shape 2,900 sounds ok...but make sure to put OBO....someone might offer 2,700 or so and i'd say take that, she's got alot of miles on her :) goodluck

i never say OBO when selling!!!! by doing that you are asking people to low ball you. if someone is interested they will try to negotiate without you telling them that you are willing.

i have actually never had some one do that...

if its a good deal then it won't matter

Lowest Mile Explorer

I just brought my Explorer last week and it has 21,900, not bad for a 1994. How many miles does your Explorer have on it?

???

You sure it's not 121,000????

Seems REALLY low.....if it's true you got a steal, if it was properly stored/maintained.....

ya, that seems really really low for a '94. My 94 has 123000

Our '92 says 77k miles.. actually it now says 277k miles.. I used my label maker and put a 2 in front of the numbers since that is what I really have..

Seriously, Don't bother putting OBO... Figure what the minimum you will let it go for, add about $500 to it and then you have the $500 to negotiate with...

OR... Put what you want to sell it for, and put "Firm" in the add

Even without OBO you will normally end up negotiating.

Yes, it's 21K original miles. I have known the owner for over 15 years so I do know the history of the vehicle.

I've got a 1994 Limited Automatic, with about 228,000 miles on it. Runs great with the same engine, but fourth transmission. Check out Kelly's Blue Book to see the recomended selling price. My apraised value is $4,410, even with the miles and rust.
