Anyone know a place to get some chrome 18" Bullit style or Torque Thrust rims for a 2002 Explorer. Some people say they fit and others say they don't. Explorer Express sell 17" Bullit rims for my 02X in chrome but 18s would be preferable. Can anyone help?

check out ebay, they usually have some

Oh I know a million places to get them. I just wanted to make sure they would fit. I know the 17s do, but do the 18s?

18's actually fit better than the 17's, especially if you are lowered.

What do you mean by fit better? I don't mean appearance. I was talking about actually fitting on the X

thats what im talking about, "actually fitting better on the X." the 17's rub the lip on the lower control arm when you turn all the way... but just barely. 18's have enough extra inner diameter that they clear this lip and dont rub when turned. this rub isnt an issue @ stock height, but when you lower it you change the angle of the control arms, and this brings the inside of the wheel closer to the control arm @ full turn. check out thread titled "get rid of Cobra R rub" in the "seriously lowered suspension tech" of the Sport Truck section. i have pixs of the spot the 17x9's rub.
