Hello, I’m currently looking at a set of Saleen reps for my 99 xlt explorer in my area. I’ve read a few threads mentioning 18x9s will work fine but haven’t seen many talk about 18x10s? The wheel specs are the following:
18x10 +28
18x9 +30
5x114.3 / 5x4.5 bp

My brother let me mount up an 18x9 FR500 wheel with a 305/maybe35/18 and it barely fit the rear.
Ideally I’d like to run 275/50/18 all around.. or relatively tall/wide tire. The FR500 are genuine ford racing wheels and I can’t find any info like offset/bp or else I’d provide it. Any input is appreciated.

Look at the back of the wheel itself, the offset is usually molded in there. Look for "ET" or a figure like "44" or "24" etc, it will be metric.

The left side parking brake cable will be in the way(for wide tires), you will have to rearrange the cables with the strut rod there, to route the cable inboard of that suspension part. V6 trucks do not have that strut rod, they would have to use several large zip ties or something to pull the cables inward.
