1988 ranger 2.9l starts but runs really rough, chugs black smoke, then will clear up and run right for a while. I 've emptied the fuel tank and replaced the filter twice,O2 sensor,TFI module,plugs, wires,cap and rotor.I thought it might be the fuel pressure regulator but when I checked its running in spec,seems the vacuum drops before the fuel pressure rises when it stumbles.
