IN SHORT 1991 REAR ABS DON'T WORK "AFTER" INTERIOR ABS LIGHT AND E-BRAKE LIGHT COMES ON BUT IT GENERALLY IS ON.
PLEASE READ BELOW FOR MORE DETAIL
THANKS ljrh

brakes fine all summer THEN!
small ice storm As soon as the explorer went into a slide,..."Locked UP" the lights came on and went in to a "fierce rear-end slide"...I pressure washed the under belly to clear the rear brake sensor rings of any particulars, I then tried to reset the computer by disconnecting the battery but nothing. This truck only has 110k OG. What are the simple tests to fix this. I very capable of doing ANY work for myself. I really need easiast and most common problems to test and repair first....even if requires ....well anything...I have the ficilities.

BUMP

mine just did this today looking to fix it. I had to stop quickly for a red light and conditions were a little wet. On the brakes and the truck instantly locked the rears.

I have the same problem ....leaking rear brake cylinder.
