i went to get in my x and it acted like it didn't want to start. so i held the gas pedal down for a few second and then my x started right up. well I'm my driving home my x stalled on me then it act like it wasn't getting gas so i did the same thing i had to do early that morning to get it started again. so to get to my x house u have to go up hills well i went up the one hill and it done fine and i tried to go up the second hill in it stall on me the then after i got it start back up to make it home i had to press on the gas and when it act like it was going to dye on my me i would let of the gas and if i had to go up hill i had to press the gas and let up on the gas all they way up the hill.

so then I had to press on my brakes really hard because a dog ran out in front of me and now my rear anti lock brake lights is on and I don't know why it's staying on. Well when I got home to park my x there was like a hissing sound or a leak sound come from the x. it sounded like it was coming for the motor but then it sounded like it was coming from under my x.

With that hissing noise, I think I would start by looking for a vacuum leak.

From a vaccum standpoint, you're looking at the vacuum tree on the driver's side, on the rear of the valve cover. Follow the lines and ensure they are connected. A problem failure is the big hose going to the right that goes into the brake booster. The grommet breaks real easy and lets the air in.

i had that same problem its on your break booster if you turn it on you can hear it with your hood up and can feel it it sucks some major air. and the plus to it, it only cost like six bucks. and its not bad to replace at all. on mine it wasnt the grommet it was like a plastic cap that had broke off and it looks like crossheirs with that cap broke off.

can someone tell where my fuel filters is on a 1991 ford expolrer and how to change it?

on the drivers side of t he car, underneath. kind of sitting on the frame rail i guess. its behind this metal cover thing. y ou gotta take that off, then u need a special fuel line tool to get the lines off.

Aft looking forward, driver's side. You'll need the special fuel connector tools. These can be loaned from autozone.
