There are no problems with the X as of now, but every time i go into jiffy lube to get my mobile 1 engine oil, they tell me i need a tranny flush and new rear differential fluid...I remember reading in here that it's bad to flush the tranny if it hasnt been done in a long time like in my case because the gunk left over can mess it up...anyone w/ knowledge please help me out...i dont want any future problems....the car currently has 156,000 miles....oh ya, i also wanted to know if i should do anything to my front differential, even though the 4x4 is VERY rarely used....probably been used 20-30 times....thanks

Flushing a high mileage tranny can loosen chunks of crud up and cause them to jam things up. You would probably be better off just draining the fluid and replacing it as well as the filters. If you don't do it yourself, make sure they install the filters.;)

For your front diff, it would be a good idea to replace the fluid in it at the same time you get the rear done.
