Hi folks,
Short version: I have a front transmission leak, likely from the shaft input seal. The transmission fluid was low and the transmission fluid overheated. It wont drop below 3rd gear and the wrench and CEL lights illuminated. Codes were for incorrect gear ratio codes for gears 1-3, torque converter fault and clutch electrical circuit. It will shift/downshift to and from3rd 4th when in drive (D) position, but not overdrive.
We dropped the pan, with some varnishing of the fluid and some light metalic debris on the magnet. We replaced filter and added fluid to specs.
Now getting TC clutch circuit electical, ABC shift solenoid malfunctions, and ABD pressure control low codes.
I think I now have have a short in the transmission electrical wiring or is it the Shift Solenoid Assembly itself? Thanks in advance for any advice!
