1992 4x4 Switch/Light

My 4x4 switch/light on my 1992 Explorer is acting funny. Every so often the light comes on dimmley and I have to engage then disengage the 4x4 button to get it to go off.....is this trying to tell me something or is this a problem rising? thanks any help is appreciated.

Im having the same problem, my 4x4 light sometimes is light, on my 92. I havent' had a problem with it shifting in to 4wd so im not that worried about it. But i did wish i knew y it happend.

Ok, well, i thought everything was fine, but now it looks like i need new hubs, and the 4x4 light on the dash doesn't light up, the tcase is engaging so that is good, but still have problems with the lights. BTRs X, did u do anything? ANyone else?

Ive already changed to manual hubs. My light still comes on but everything works great.

Had same problem with mine,discovered that my 4x4
/lowranrge bulb was burnt out on the dash causing
my lowrange light to stay dimly lite.Try it,might
be the problem.
