1993 Explorer XL loses power when driving

Oh I never mentioned the ANY1

I believe that is the programming version. kinda like computer software uses "version 1.0" or version 2.6.

In your case it's a funny one. I mean really?

ANY1 -- -Anyone ---- Any one --- -Any 1.

Maybe the parts genius will try to tell you that, that means it will work in ANY ONE!

Holy. Cow.

Guys, cross your fingers, but I think that was IT. The new PCM is IN, and it had a dramatic impact on the truck overall. We'll see if it continues, but it's looking good so far. I'll drive it a couple of days and see if anything develops.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Paul

:D:salute:

Glad you got it fixed.

Just shows how it's always important to pull those codes whenever there's a problem. That is precisely why they're there. ;) :chug:

Ran like a champ every time I drove it today. Fingers still crossed, but it's STILL lookin' good!

Paul

It will be easier to drive if you un-cross your fingers!

:dpchug:

FYI - More than a week later and it's still driving like a dream now. PCM was clearly the broken part. Thanks again!
