1993 ford explorer won't start

Hi guys I have a 93 Ford Explorer XLT XLT last year my fuel pump went out I had to replace my battery was dead so I replaced it the car turns over but it won't start where is my fuel filter or what should I do next thanks in advance.

Do you hear the fuel pump turn on when the key is turned to the on position? Does it try to start at all or just crank and crank? The fuel pump is located on the drivers side inside the frame rail near the radius arm bracket.
