1994 ex eddie bauer tranny issue

Ok from start ...oil ok filter ok couvernor new... car runs like should... but
On startup when start the car switshing from park to d or od dont move unless i raise rpm to 2500 rpm for a 10 seconds then switshes the gear and runs like gold. Start the car and switsh ta REAR gear, switshes immadetly..
If take off the couvernor vacuum hose from so called octupus all gears switsh in low rpm.
where to start...look for problem

If you put in manual 1, does it work, or do you still have to rev it up first? Possibility that you could have a "sticky" servo, but I am not an expert by far! Maybe somebody with more knowledge or info than me will chime in. Good luck with it! And wow! Member for over a year and a half, and only your 2nd post!

hi ..no matter if put manual 1 or 2 anyvay haw to raise rpm to get move.. if stiky servo.. vhy if i remove covernor vacuum house from so called octopus 1 gear switshes fine...no delay nno need to raise rpm..
