1995 Explorer 4.0 EB. 67K miles. So I replaced the camshaft postion sensor. The original was bad, tested. I replaced as the manual states. New plugs, wires, serp belt, bunch of new sensors, change oil and filter. Got the engine back together. Started. Rough starting. No power and rough idle even dying. However throws code 337 and the lines on the EGR sensor pop off. I'm assuming that that cat is clogged since it is the surface of the sun hot near the cats. The bolts are for sure rusted. I guess the question is does it seem like clogged cats is the only problem from what my symptoms are? I know everything is plugged in, I had the engine at at the proper timing mark after TDC per the manual, I confirmed the camshaft position sensor worked using the voltmeter. The only thing I am questioning is the plug wires and order on the coil pack which I cannot find a good diagram. If I unhook the exhaust at the manifolds (assuming that I can actually get the bolts off) would it tell me the cats are clogged and should it run better? Just trying to determine if I am going to put any more time and effort into this thing.
Thank you
