I own a '95 Aerostar and I currently am having problems with hesitation and stalling. When I'm driving, it feels as though it's going to stall, especially when going over bumps in the road--not a good feeling! It stalled when I was at a red light and when I put it in reverse. The check engine light occasionally goes on but turns off when idle is even. Also, when I went to check for a code, we couldn't find where to hook up the device.

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the Aerostar section. The EEC-IV test connector is under the hood in the middle of the vehicle. You could use a jumper wire or a paper clip to engage a diagnostic mode, and count the flashes of the check engine light.
