No dash lights, but luminator dial does turn on over head inside lights. Also, none of the switches work for the cruise control, fog (running) lights, rear wipers, and rear defroster. The head lights, turn signals, brake lghts, and reverse lights, and hazzard lights all work fine. Note: The dash indicator lights (air bags, check engine, seat belts, etc) and dash gauges (gas, temp, volts, etc.) all seem to be working fine. Additionally, there is an after-market radio installed and it works fine. (Btw... I've checked the fuses and they all are okay.) Any suggestions? THANX IN ADVANCE.

Have you checked ALL fuses? (Drivers door, and under the hood?)

Do your window buttons/cruise control/defroster buttons (etc) light up when your headlights are on?

Yes, I've checked all the fuses both inside and under the hood.

No, the none of the dash/console buttons illuminate when I turn the head lights on. All are out... just like the dash lights.

Eh, my only guess would be that you have a bad dimmer switch.

I went to the JY and got some new gauges, and grabbed what felt and looked like a really good firm feeling dimmer switch (If that makes any sense), and installed it, and sometimes when I click my lights on, NO interior dash lights etc come on, until I wiggle the dimmer.

Thanx. I was wondering the same... but the fact the dimmer switch does turn on the inside over-head lights makes me think it (the dimmer switch) is okay.

Mine does too, that doesn't really mean much, its basically a seperate switch so to speak.

I assume when listed all the "stuff" (cruise, etc) you were referring to the lights not working as opposed to their function. IF so, then your likely culprit is your headlight switch.... BUT check it with a meter as there are a few wires leaving that may actually be the issue as opposed to the switch itself.
