Hey guys,

First off I am quite annoyed that you can't buy a drop in replacement cooler. I've searched for hours and there seems to be no good solutions other than rigging a universal cooler back in. I've also been looking all over this site.

From this I'm guessing I'll just have to attach it to the old one somehow. And I'll also need a way to add a little length to my stock high and low pressure lines. Are there little adapters with the little flange on each side so I can't use hose clamps to tighten them nice and snug? I'd rather not replace the high and low pressure lines because they are brand new.

Any suggestion?

Hoping to get the coolant flushed and the power steering buttoned up so that tomorrow I can replace the valve body in the trans.

Edit; I guess I'll only need to add length to the low pressure line going into the cooler and can prob just get a new hose for the line from the cooler back up to the pump.

Thanks. I actually bought a universal cooler and just used those zip tie things to mount it behind the old power steering cooler as it seemed very flimsy and prob wouldn't stand up to getting hit by debris. The old one was steel. I'm sure airflow will be fine. So the power steering is working good. Although after I filled it I used high mileage power steering fluid instead of atf because I didn't look at the manual but I doubt it will be a problem.

New problem belt squeal that I narrowed down to misaligned power steering pump pulley. But have to wait to put it back together as I took off all the coolant hoses and am currently waiting for a new thermostat housing.
