Hi All,
I have a 95' Explorer XLT with premium sound, a dead changer in the arm rest. Is it possible to disconnect the changer at the arm rest location and connect an adapter to that to hardwire my ipod?

Thank you

I switched the whole system out and installed a Pioneer headunit instead of the stock system. If you get a head unit with auxillary outputs built into it, your upod will connect right into the back via audio rca cables. It works really well. Then you can customize from there. My ipod docks into a charger/stand in the forward console. Good Luck. Also check out Harmon Kardons I+drive set up, Its sold at most Best Buys and might be a little more what your looking for.
