So i have a 96 Explorer Sport manual transmission and some times it just doesn't start. In order for it to start you have to push in the clutch all the way in and turn the key. If that doesn't work you kind of have to shift your foot a little to the left of the clutch pedal to try and start it. I also have touble when going into first gear when completely stopped. I press teh clutch all the way in and if i don't have it pressed in the right way its hard to put it in first and i get the cracking noise as if the clutch wasn't all the way in.
I also noticed that if i park on an incline the car wont start at all so i have to clutch start it.
anyone have any ideas what might be going on?
thanks
