so just got this truck 2 months ago and noticed it has a slight shake when you first get on the gas. does not shake bad but still was wondering what it was?
so first thing i did was replace all bushing and wheeling bearing in the front and also replaced the rear u joint on the yoke of the axle and it went away for about a week. the truck is lifted 6ins and was done by the previous owner.

should i replace the other one u joint on the drive shaft or see if the bearing on the drive shaft just after the transfer case on the cross member is bad??

please help any suggestions will help im just not sure what else could cause something like this and thank you in advance

It's most likely your rear driveshaft carrier bearing that needs to be lowered since you have that much lift. The u-joints are out of phase so when you get on the gas from a stop, the middle of the driveshaft pushes up and you feel the vibes.

Lowering the carrier bearing will bring the middle of the 2 piece shaft back in line or back in phase. Another but more expensive cure is to get a 1 piece shaft made. I believe either the newer supercab Rangers and/or sport trac's have a 1 piece shaft. Some research should net you some results.
