Hey all,
I need some tranny advice from the ford experts out there!
I just purchased a used tranny from a guy saying it was a 1996 auto. from what ive read while searching here they are compatable with my GFs 95. well after nearing the end of the swap i noticed there are two sensor plugs on top, one on the front half and one before the 4wd flange that her old one didnt. Also the electrical plug that goes into the gear shifter is different for both years... i uncovered a sticker upon further inspection that had a manf date in 1997...
So, can anyone tell me what the internal difference is between the two and if there is anything i can do, other than pull it back out and try and sell it (unless someone reading this in KCMO wants it
), to make this tranny work?
